Job Profile:

System Installation & Maintenance

• Install, configure, and maintain computerized systems, including software, hardware, instruments, accessories, and servers for both in-house and third-party installations.
• Manage and monitor cloud servers and M365 suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
• Ensure proper functioning of servers, routers, switches, networking equipment, LAN / WAN / MPLS / Firewall / Storage / UPS / Backup systems, CCTV surveillance, leased lines, Cyberoam VPN connections, biometric attendance, and access control systems.
• Maintain logs of system/software configuration, updates, and customizations.

Software Management & Support

• Handle software maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of system/application issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors/solution providers for closure of IT support tickets.
• Assist in new software implementation projects (including SAP and other enterprise or laboratory applications).
• Maintain and monitor analytical software and licenses such as LabSolution, Empower, Tiamo, Rheocalc, Thermolab, Anti-virus solutions, Adobe applications, etc.

User & Account Management

• Create, manage, and monitor user accounts across computerized systems, cloud platforms, and M365.
• Provide timely support to users and maintain a log of issues, resolutions, and escalations.

Compliance & Documentation

• Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT systems and software.
• Conduct periodic reviews of computerized systems and associated software to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements wherever applicable in IT processes.

Data & Security Management

• Ensure regular backup of user data, emails, server data, cloud data, and instrument-related software data.
• Implement and maintain IT security policies in line with organizational requirements.
• Safeguard computer assets, networks, and data from external virus threats and cyberattacks.
• Ensure strict adherence to IT policies and protocols.

Inventory & Vendor Management

• Maintain accurate records of reports, IT inventory, and software licenses.
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare vendor quotes for IT procurement and present recommendations to management.

Desired Profile:

• B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Tech / M.Sc with 2 to 6 years of experience from pharmaceutical industry, Specifically from R&D Set-up

• Candidates preferred from pharmaceutical industry, Specifically from R&D Set-up.

• Perform periodic audits of IT systems for security, compliance, and performance.

• Provide training and guidance to users on IT policies, security awareness, and system usage.

• Visit companys plants on a need basis to provide IT support, system maintenance, and implementation.

• Carry out any additional duties assigned as per organizational requirements.

• Good problem-solving, analytical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
