Job Description

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Distribution Planning & Program Management (DPPM) is the centralized strategy and support unit for all sales channels and distribution of the organization. It connects the sales and distribution team with all the other functions in the company and plays as a powerful leverage-point for driving the improvements in sales behavior and effectiveness that result in revenue and profitability gains. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Analyze trends and give insights to improve new business conversion, drive product mix.
  • Gather feedback from Sales force on key aspects like products, sales processes etc and get the same implemented.
  • The job also involves coordination with key stakeholders in Sales channels, Operations, Products, and Business Insights

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A. New Business Enhancement analysis

1. Pendency Analysis across channels and providing observations around buckets to be converted to reduce TAT

2. Identification of bottlenecks in NB process, FR submission, etc.

3. MIS activation for measurement and daily tracking of company new business and opportunity

4. RCA on company initiated cancellations for sufficiently funded cases to identify issues and CAPA

5. Drive submission of pending FR's through whatsapp and email modes and analyse adoption and effectiveness of the same

6.Sample Analysis on FR submissions across channels and providing observations around buckets.

7.Channel Governance on Term & Non-Term conversion numbers on monthly basis.

B. Formulate analysis on Product Mix MIS/Profitability score for sharing the same with management as applicable.

1.Publish Profitability score of Par, Npar, UL, Savings and Pensions across channels.

2.Publish Target Vs Achievement records on across channels as well as compnay level.

3.Prepare Product mix council & Review Slides presentation for departmental MBR as and when required.

4.Publish Additional reports/Data Analysis as applicable.

C. Front line sales connect insighting

1. Connect with FLSs .for insighting and enablement of DPPM driven levers, take feedback on Products / Sales Processes / Servicing / Ops, etc and get the feedback implemented from concerned stakeholders- Suggest and implement tactical changes that will impact business in long run

2. Regular Competition benchmarking of product/service offerings which can be used to enhance company offerings.

D. Automation of dashboards to generate reports on a regular basis

1.Call Center Conversion and TAT Dashboard- Create an automated dashboard on Call Center conversion and TAT to be shared on a daily basis as soon as dispositions are generated

2.Automation of MIS set to ED.

Candidate must have:

  • Overall 2-3 yrs insurance industry experience
  • Graduate (Any stream)
