Job Description

Algorithm / Software Engineer – Deep Learning & Image Processing 27051

The successful candidate will join a world-class team of algorithm and software engineers to design

deep learning (DL), machine learning (ML), image processing, and related algorithms

for advanced inspection and metrology applications.A key requirement for this role is the ability and passion to create new ideas, analyze complex systems, formulate mathematical solutions, and implement ML workflows that are practical for production environments. The role also involves strong collaboration with global teams and occasional travel (up to 20%) for customer support, training, or project work.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and improve DL/ML training datasets and associated workflow processes.
Assess and optimize performance of DL/ML learning models.
Compare and benchmark various DL/ML model architectures.
Develop and implement algorithms to enhance signal-to-noise ratio and extract features from noisy images.
Work with local and global teams across all phases of the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with product engineering teams to define performance specifications and ensure delivery.
Provide technical support during demos, beta testing, and customer engagement projects.

Must-Have Qualifications

Education & Experience:

PhD (0+ years experience, acceptable if from Tier-1 institutes).
OR M.Tech/Master’s degree + 3 years relevant experience.
OR B.Tech/Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience.

Core Skills (Minimum 3 years in each area):

Algorithm development.
Computer Vision.
Image Processing.
C++ programming.

Other Requirements:

Strong background in image processing, computer vision, or pattern recognition.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Linux shell scripting, and OOP.
Familiarity with version/source code control tools.
Strong communication skills (oral & written).
Proven stability in previous roles (minimum 2 years tenure per organization).
Experience in product development environments (mandatory).
