Primary Skill :An experienced Infrastructure Shift Lead to oversee the daily operations of our organization's infrastructure domain during their assigned Shift The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our organization's infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, and network devices.The Infrastructure Shift Lead will also be responsible for leading a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators and providing technical guidance and support. Secondary Skill :NA Position Specific duties :Oversee the daily operations of the infrastructure domain during the assigned shift, including monitoring system alerts, analyzing system performance metrics, and troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues. Lead a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators, providing technical guidance and support to ensure timely issue resolution and adherence to IT policies and procedures. Collaborate with Infra Product teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure systems with other IT systems and applications. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures, including vulnerability assessments and patch management. Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure systems, including standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides. Participate in the development and implementation of infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new system implementations. Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests, including tracking and reporting of system availability and performance metrics. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders, including incident management and problem resolution. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. The Infrastructure Shift Lead may be required to work outside regular office hours to perform maintenance or upgrade activities that may impact system availability. The Infrastructure Shift Lead may be required to participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support in case of system emergencies. Required skill :At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure support, administration, or engineering. Proven experience in working with a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators. Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, and network devices. Experience in managing and maintaining virtualization platforms, such as VMware , Hyper-V or Nutanix . Knowledge of IT security policies and procedures, including vulnerability assessments and patch management. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex infrastructure issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and handle multiple priorities. Desired Experience :Cisco Neworking Certifcations like CCNA , CCNP Knowledge & certifications around Linux , Windows , Storage and Virtualization would be beneficial to succeed in this role Education :Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
