DevOps Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and

Terraform.

• Experience in cloud engineering, preferably

  using public cloud providers such as

AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment

  (CI/CD) pipelines

Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub.

• Experience with modern DevOps tools and technologies such as

  Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform,

Ansible, Puppet, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Automate software configuration and deployment using infrastructure as code tools such as

Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

• Develop and maintain containerization solutions using

  Docker and Kubernetes.

• Design, implement, and maintain our CDN infrastructure using

  Akamai CDN

  .

• Monitor and analyse system and application performance metrics, troubleshoot, and resolve

issues, and optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operation, to

integrate DevOps practices into our software development lifecycle.

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect our software development pipeline

and infrastructure against cyber threats, including identity and access management, networksecurity, and encryption.

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect against DDoS attacks, web application

attacks, and other threats.

• Research and evaluate new DevOps tools and technologies to stay up to date on industry

trends and best practices.

• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and training materials for DevOps

processes and practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Linux-based servers, networks, and storage systems.

• Strong understanding of web and application performance optimization techniques,

including caching, compression, and image optimization.

• Solid understanding of

  TCP/IP networking, DNS, HTTP, and other web protocols.

• Experience with CDN security measures,

  including DDoS protection

  and web application

firewalls.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including infrastructure as code,

automation, and containerization.
