Job Description

As a Computer Scientist 1 at Adobe, you will play a crucial role in developing robust and scalable software solutions that have a global impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure flawless integration of various backend services. Your work will contribute to products used by millions of people daily, making a tangible difference in the digital world. Key Responsibilities: - Craft and implement robust, scalable software solutions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine requirements and implement new features - Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement - Ensure seamless integration of various backend services - Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards - Apply best development practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to uphold software quality - Work within Scrum or similar agile frameworks to deliver projects on time Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on front-end development - Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, or similar frameworks for solving complex problems - Experience in building scalable web applications with clean, maintainable code - Strong understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and component design - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design - Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs; Java knowledge is a plus - Exposure to tools and frameworks like Webpack, Babel, Vite, and testing libraries - Experience with cloud-based integrations, preferably AWS or Firebase - Knowledge of web performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility - Prior experience mentoring junior front-end developers - Worked in Agile/Scrum development environments - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for front-end projects - Familiarity with CDN and performance optimization techniques is a plus Please note that Adobe is committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunities.
