Airport Master Planner

As a Junior Airport Planner at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in managing the preparation of airport planning studies for general aviation and commercial service airports. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and contributing to airport master planning, airport system planning, airfield planning, terminal planning, airspace planning, and environmental studies. - Designing, analyzing, and planning airside and terminal concepts. - Performing research, gathering data, and carrying out assessments/analysis to support airport planning studies. - Preparing technical presentations, reports, and reviewing scopes of work for airport planning studies. - Working on multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating with the wider aviation team and other project members effectively. - Assisting in business development and proposal preparation. - Demonstrating meticulousness with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Supporting the aviation team in pursuits and business development activities. Experience in airport master planning, demand and capacity analysis, facilities programming, airfield and apron planning, terminal interfacing, airfield simulation modeling, OLS modeling, and support facility planning is required. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in aviation management, Aeronautical Science, or Planning. - Master's Degree in Airport Planning and Management or Aviation Management. Key Competencies - Technical Skills: - Airport design and master planning. - Proficiency in using software like Avi PLAN or equivalent for specific planning tasks. - Preparation of technical reports and presentations. - Application of ICAO/IATA/DGCA/AAI criteria to design and communicate with project teams and clients. - Assistance in business development and proposal preparation. - Professional certifications are advantageous. Key Competencies - Soft Skills: - Interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral, written, and listening). - Process orientation. - Strong data analysis and presentational skills.
