Key Responsibilities:

1. Air Freight Operations

• Oversee day-to-day air freight import and export operations.
• Ensure compliance with customs, IATA, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor shipment performance and service quality against KPIs.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Negotiate rates and contracts with airlines, couriers, and freight partners.
• Manage vendor performance to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with logistics service providers.

3. Courier & Express Cargo Management

• Supervise courier and express cargo movements for priority shipments.
• Coordinate with service providers for timely pickup and delivery.
• Track performance and implement process improvements.

4. IT & Digitalization

• Drive automation and digital initiatives (e-AWB, TMS, real-time tracking).
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system efficiency and visibility.
• Promote adoption of digital tools for documentation and operations.

5. Client Interaction & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary contact for key clients on air freight services.
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Support business development with service insights and operational support.

6. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare periodic reports on cost, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives across processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree / MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5–9 years’ experience in

  air freight operations and logistics.

• Strong understanding of

  procurement, courier management, and client servicing.

• Hands-on experience with

  digital logistics platforms and TMS systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
