Core Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML projects—from scoping and prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers.
Model Development: Design, train, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models for predictive analytics, NLP, CV, recommendation systems, etc.
MLOps: Oversee model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and continuous training in production environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, software developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Research & Innovation: Evaluate cutting-edge AI/ML research and integrate suitable technologies into company products and platforms.
Compliance & Ethics: Ensure responsible AI practices, addressing fairness, bias, interpretability, and compliance requirements.

Technical Skills

Programming: Expert in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn), and familiar with C++, R, or Java if needed.
Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face Transformers.
Data Tools: SQL, Spark, Kafka, Airflow.
Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI.
Techniques: Supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning.
MLOps: CI/CD for ML, monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), feature stores, model drift detection.

Typical Background

5+ years experience in AI/ML development.
2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
