About the Role: AI-Powered EdTech Engineer

We’re looking for a versatile, creative, and technically strong engineer who can help us design, build, and scale advanced educational tools that:

• Track and improve student learning journeys
• Integrate AI-powered insights for teachers and mentors
• Visualize academic patterns and student needs
• Automate interventions and academic support

You’ll be working directly with the founder (an academic strategist with 10+ years of experience) and other collaborators to build solutions that blend AI, education, design, and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop intelligent web-based academic tools and dashboards
• Build and connect systems across front-end, back-end, and AI logic
• Create responsive, mentor-friendly UI/UX for data-rich interfaces
• Analyze student data to derive actionable patterns and insights
• Integrate AI tools like OpenAI/Gemini for smart support systems
• Collaborate on product design, architecture, and problem-solving
• Maintain modular, scalable code with a clear component structure

Ideal Skill Set

Frontend:

• React, Next.js, or Google AI Studio (preferred)
• TailwindCSS, TypeScript, JavaScript
• UX Design thinking, Figma (bonus)

Backend / State:

• Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Storage)
• Node.js, Express (optional)
• Working with localStorage and JSON state

Data / AI:

• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
• Jupyter / Google Colab
• API integration: OpenAI, Gemini, etc.
• Knowledge of ML use-cases: recommendation, classification, prediction

Bonus:

• Experience building dashboards or learning platforms
• Understanding of school/tuition systems or EdTech workflows
• Contribution to GitHub, Kaggle, or AI/ML competitions

Preferred Background

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, ICT, or related fields
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Data Science, AI, or Educational Technology
• MCA / BCA with strong real-world project experience
• Strong portfolio > Degree (we value projects, not just papers)
