AI Engineer

Join our team as as an AI/ML Engineer, where you will be instrumental in developing an AI-native software that enhances both creativity and productivity for teams and enterprises. This position is ideal for those passionate about leveraging machine learning to create cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build AI enabled products that are fully enabled by the capabilities of LLMs and other recent developments in foundation models. Evaluate and assimilate emerging techniques into our production systems.
• Build high performance Search and RAG: Data indexing, ranking, query processing
• Build evaluation frameworks for agent, RAG, and LLM performance: We are taking a polyglot approach to working with LLMs with a strong preference for getting workloads working on open source models.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in Software Engineering or end-to-end Data Science. Proficient in Python and data oriented algorithms.
• Strong background in either distributed data systems or machine learning engineering. Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Ray is a plus.
• Proven ability to experiment with new techniques and deliver robust production code. We work mostly in python, and have both LlamaIndex and LangChain code in our emerging RAG stack. Other technologies include; Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm
• Recent demonstrated experience in (and excitement for) building agents, training and evaluating emerging foundation LLMs, building RAG systems and planet scale information retrieval systems, or working with vector databases. We encourage you to share your projects with us!
