Key Responsibilities

AI & Feature Development

• Use

  AI APIs

  , open-source models, HuggingFace models, or fine-tuned models to build:
• Background removal
• Image cleanup/enhancement
• Template automation
• Artwork generation
• Content generation
• Build and integrate

  AI microservices

  using

  Python (FastAPI / Flask)

  or

  Node.js (Express / Nest.js)

  .

Backend & Integration

• Develop

  REST APIs

  that connect AI features with DesignO
• Implement workflows for image processing, template suggestions, and automation.
• Optimize models/services for speed, caching, and scalability.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in

  Python or Node.js

  (either language is acceptable).
• Experience with

  AI/ML libraries

  in at least one language:
• Python: PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas
• Node.js: TensorFlow.js, ONNX Runtime, or AI API integrations
• Experience working with

  AI APIs

  (OpenAI, Hugging Face, Stability, Replicate, LangChain, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  image processing libraries/tools

  : OpenCV, PIL, or equivalent tools.
• Experience building

  REST APIs

  and microservices.
• Understanding of

  Docker

  , deployments, and basic DevOps concepts.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.

Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)

• Background removal and enhancement models (U2Net, RemBG, MediaPipe).
• Basic fine-tuning (LoRA, DreamBooth, embeddings).
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate – optional).
• Exposure to Laravel or React integrations (not mandatory).
• Some understanding of print/design workflows.

Experience Required

• 2–5 years total experience

• At least

  1.5 year hands-on

  with AI, ML, or image-processing workflows
• Candidates with working project examples will be prioritized

Example Projects You Will Work On

• Generate simple artwork or templates using AI
• Build auto-layout features for photobooks or templates
• Image enhancement: background removal, color correction, upscaling
• Generate product stories/descriptions dynamically
• AI-based workflow automation (auto-fill fields, suggestions)
• Integrate AI tools into DesignO workflow through microservices
