AI Content Quality Analyst

InCommon is hiring on behalf of an early-stage startup building and AI-native ecommerce technology stack. Role Summary Ensure AI-generated creative deliverables meet defined quality, brand, and functional standards. Design and execute quality checks, define metrics, and collaborate with Prompt Engineers and designers to close feedback loops. Key Responsibilities Define quality criteria and checklists for AI outputs (text, images, video). Systematically review batches of AI-generated assets against brand guidelines, accuracy, tone, and technical specs. Log issues, categorize failure modes (e.g., factual errors, off-brand style, visual artifacts), and work with Prompt Engineers or ML teams to resolve. Develop and track key quality metrics (e.g., rejection rates, revision cycles, time to approve). Automate parts of the QA process where possible (e.g., simple scripts to flag obvious errors or use light-weight AI tools to pre-screen). Collaborate with design and product teams to understand evolving brand standards and update QA criteria accordingly. Provide clear, actionable feedback to prompt and engineering teams, prioritizing high-impact fixes. Participate in retrospectives or post-mortems on quality incidents; recommend process improvements. Help build a knowledge base of known issues and remediation practices. Core Qualifications Strong attention to detail and critical thinking: able to catch subtle issues in creative outputs. Experience in QA processes, preferably in digital/creative or AI-generated content contexts. Good written communication: document findings clearly, propose next steps. Analytical skills: comfortable with basic metrics tracking; familiarity with tools like spreadsheets or simple dashboards. Collaborative mindset: works closely with prompt, design, and engineering teams to improve outputs. Adaptability: comfortable working with evolving AI capabilities and shifting brand or product requirements. Nice-to-Have Prior experience evaluating generative AI outputs or working in AI QA. Familiarity with basic automation or scripting to streamline repetitive QA tasks. Background in design or content creation, understanding visual and verbal brand consistency.
