AI Chief of Staff Intern (Investments & Strategy)

What You’ll Do

• Research competitors, funding rounds, and partnerships using

  Tracxn, Crunchbase, and PitchBook.

• Track investor landscapes and prepare briefs on relevant VCs and angels.
• Build and update our fundraising pipeline (who to talk to, when, why).
• Prepare

  competition battlecards

  : strengths/weaknesses vs Maya.
• Support pitch refinement and strategy (you’ll sit in prep calls and see what goes into fundraising).
• Explore relevant

  competitions, GTM, events and programs.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent background preferred.
• Humanities students welcome to apply: we value strong writing, research, and strategic thinking.
• Strong communication and structured thinking.
• Interest in venture capital, startups, and AI ecosystems.

🧪 Application Assignment (Compulsory Prerequisite)

Part 1 (Compulsory): Try Maya from Investor POV

• Use MayaAgent.AI with no instructions.
• Deliverable: 3–5 slides covering:
• What you think Maya does (in your own words)
• What worked / what didn’t from an investor perspective
• Would you invest? If yes, what traction/metrics would you want to see next?

Part 2 (Choose Any 2 of 5)

Pick two of the following advanced tasks and deliver in slide format (Google Slides/PPTX):

1. Market Sizing Exercise

   – Build a TAM/SAM/SOM model for Maya with assumptions & sources.

2. Competitor Battlecard

   – Compare Maya vs 1–2 competitors (Rabbit R1, Humane, x.ai, Replika).

3. Investor Targeting Map

   – Identify 5–10 early-stage VCs/angels, with focus, check size, AI thesis.

4. Valuation Benchmarks

   – Research 3–5 recent AI startup fundraises; benchmark valuation & traction.

5. Unit Economics Hypothesis

   – Draft a simple model on Maya’s CAC, usage costs, and lifetime value.

📩 Deliverables: Google Slides or PPTX + optional Loom (≤5 mins) walking through your analysis.
