Role Description

This is a part-time role for an Agronomist, based in Assam. The Agronomist will be responsible for conducting research on soil science, agriculture, plant nutrition, and irrigation techniques. Duties will include analyzing soil conditions, developing and implementing agricultural practices, and advising on crop management to improve yield and sustainability. The role also involves collaborating with other team members to enhance our understanding and use of unique plant varieties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition
• Experience in Agriculture and Irrigation techniques
• Strong research skills
• Ability to work on and off-site
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture, or a related field
• Experience in sustainable agriculture practices is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
