Job Description

Develop and implement carbon farming projects aligned with Puroearth, Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), or similar protocols.
Design enriched biochar blends using FOM, vermicompost, and other organic inputs for diverse crop plantations across India.
Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for biochar application, FOM, and Energy plantations across cropping systems.
Lead efforts to formulate biochar-based soil nutrition/fertilizers (organic, inorganic, and compound).
Conduct field trials to evaluate biochars impact on soil fertility, carbon sequestration, and crop yield.
Collaborate with FPOs, NGOs, and government bodies to scale carbon and biochar initiatives.
Monitor/document GHG reductions and soil carbon improvements for carbon credit validation.
Support dMRV (digital Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) using GIS and remote sensing tools.
Provide training to farmers and field staff on biochar production, application, and fertilizer use.
Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, and contribute to scientific publications.
