Job Description

Job Title: Assistant General Manager - Business Excellence

Job Summary:

Drive and implement business excellence framework in business processes and develop & execute strategies to drive initiatives for process re-engineering & optimization and continuous improvement, leveraging tools like Six Sigma principles, lean efficiency, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Execute Business Excellence Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive business excellence, focusing on footprint rationalization, business process re-engineering & optimization, and continuous improvement. Prepare midterm and annual operating plans for Business Excellence Department with SMART Targets & KPIs in alignment with Unit Level Strategy, Plans and Objectives.

2. Drive Process Improvement: Drive projects related to Business Process Re-engineering to optimize cost of quality, promote digitization and automation, improve ROI, and deploy AI, ML, and analytics-based smart audits. Oversee and improve all business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and initiate projects.

3. Sustenance of Implemented IMS Standards and Business Excellence Framework: Ensure effectiveness of Integrated Management System (IMS) standards, processes, and procedures and business excellence frameworks already implemented.

4. Facilitate Review and Improvement: Facilitate review of departmental HIRA, Aspects & Impacts and OCP, provide inputs, and ensure alignment with management standards.

5. Internal Audits and Compliance: Perform internal audits, coordinate with IMS consultants and certification bodies, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

6. Develop Quality Control Program: Develop and maintain a quality control program that assures customers receive quality service.

7. Leadership Development: Build and develop Business Excellence Team

Key Competencies:

1. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.

2. Knowledge of statistical tools and lean tools.

3. Knowledge of latest continuous improvement practices and industry trends.

4. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

5. Strong business and financial acumen.

6. Experience in process optimization.

7. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
