Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Agency Recruitment & Development: Recruit, appoint, and onboard new agents/advisors to build a strong distribution network. Training & Development: Provide training, mentoring, and support to agents on products, sales processes, compliance, and customer handling to improve performance. Sales & Business Development: Drive health insurance product sales through the agency channel to achieve monthly/quarterly targets. Channel Management: Maintain a productive relationship with the agents to ensure high levels of motivation, retention, and overall agency channel health. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all sales processes, regulatory guidelines, and documentation are strictly adhered to as per IRDAI and company norms. Market Intelligence: Stay updated with competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to design effective strategies. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Number of agents recruited Activation and productivity ratio of agents Premium collection and policy count Persistency of business (renewals) Compliance adherence Required Skills & Competencies: Strong sales and negotiation skills Ability to build and lead teams Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Customer-focused attitude Problem-solving and decision-making
