Key Responsibilities: - Drive growth and profitability of Smiths Detections aftermarket business across India. - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve order intake, revenue, and margin targets. - Lead market analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks. - Manage pricing strategies in coordination with global aftermarket teams. - Oversee and coach the aftermarket sales team to deliver performance excellence. - Optimize sales processes and ensure strong pipeline management and forecasting. - Drive key account relationships at CXO/VP/GM levels. - Collaborate with finance, legal, service, and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution. - Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reporting of key KPIs. Skills & Competencies: - Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling skills. - Proven experience in aftermarket sales leadership roles. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management. - Analytical mindset with experience using ERP/CRM systems and Power BI. - Ability to work in a complex, matrix organization. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Engineering; MBA preferred. - 15+ years of experience, with 8-10 years in aftermarket sales leadership. - Experience in hi-tech or industrial sectors and managing national-level teams. Job Purpose: As a Sales Manager - Aftermarket at Smiths Detection India, you will play a vital role in leading and managing aftermarket sales to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction across the India region. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and growth initiatives. This position requires working closely with the Sales Director to enhance aftermarket sales streams and maintain strong customer relationships.
