Position Summary:
The Admissions Officer plays a vital role in the College’s admissions process, with a primary responsibility for preparing and issuing offer letters. You will be responsible for processing of international student applications and sending Offer Letters. Also, to ensure accurate, timely, and professional communication throughout the admissions cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer Letter Preparation:
Review completed applications and verify eligibility based on college admission criteria.
Draft, prepare, and issue conditional and unconditional offer letters to qualified applicants.
Coordinate with academic departments to ensure program-specific admission requirements are met.
Application Review & Data Management:
Enter and update applicant information in the admissions management system. (CRM, SIS etc)
Track applicant status and follow up on pending documents or requirements.
Ensure documentation complies with college policies and government immigration regulations.
Communication & Coordination:
Coordinate with recruitment agents, academic departments, and partner universities to ensure smooth admission processing.
Participate in internal meetings to update on application status, policy changes, or process improvements.
Compliance & Quality Control:
Ensure that all offer meet institutional, legal, and immigration standards.
Regularly audit documentation to maintain compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
Any ad-hoc administrative tasks where required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions, student services, or international education preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with visa and immigration requirements, particularly for student visas, is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and admissions software (e.g., Zoho, Jira, Merito, Edutask etc.).
Desirable Skills:
Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Experience working in an Education sector.
