Job Description

The Manager Admissions is responsible for overseeing and driving the student enrollment process for the GITAM School of Architecture. You will need to have a strong network with schools and colleges, excellent knowledge of the higher education sector, and exceptional communication and organizational skills. Your role will involve working collaboratively to ensure admission targets are met while maintaining a student-centric approach. You will manage end-to-end admissions processes, including application reviews, eligibility checks, and academic qualification assessments. Facilitating decision-making for admissions as per the university's policies and guidelines will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will support prospective students and parents by providing accurate information and assistance with documentation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, colleges, and educational consultants will be crucial. You will represent the university at educational events, college fairs, and information sessions, as well as proactively connect with key stakeholders to promote the GITAM School of Architecture. Your performance will be measured based on achieving and exceeding admission targets by converting prospective students into confirmed enrollments. You will maintain metrics related to conversion rates and regularly report progress to the management. Effective communication with students, parents, and external agencies to coordinate admission-related activities is essential. You will prepare and present applicant reports and analysis for college management and address queries from students and parents throughout the admission process. Collaborating closely with internal teams to streamline admission workflows and deadlines is required. You will support a collaborative team environment and contribute to a culture of positivity and accountability. Staying updated on industry trends, admission best practices, and the regulatory environment in higher education is necessary for operational excellence. Utilizing MS Office tools to manage documentation, reporting, and presentations will be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring compliance with university standards and deadlines is crucial. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Architecture, Education, or Management preferred) and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in admissions or a related role, preferably in the higher education sector. You must have proven ability to develop and sustain a strong network with schools and colleges, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and time-management skills, and high proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Being self-motivated, a team player, results-driven individual with a positive attitude is essential. Preferred experience includes familiarity with architecture education and its unique admission requirements, as well as experience in managing or participating in education-focused events and fairs.,
