Admissions Counselor

As an Admissions Counselor located in Bikaner/Delhi, your role involves conducting admissions interviews, providing information to prospective students, assisting with the admissions process, and promoting the university's programs. You will work closely with students to address any concerns or questions they may have. Key Responsibilities: - Be knowledgeable about the program(s) for which students are advising. - Assist in career planning or refer to campus resources for such assistance. - Educate students and parents about the University, the university admissions process, trends, procedures, and testing. - Advise and support classes of 30-50 seniors and families as they go through the admissions process. - Help students and families aspire realistically and choose wisely. - Maintain an up-to-date academic advising reference file containing current program area, college, and University materials pertinent to advising. - Conduct face-to-face, tele-counselling, and online/chat counselling sessions. - Make regular follow-ups with students using a combination of communication methods. - Call on the assigned data and maintain records of each student in CRM. - Plan and help organize events, seminars, counseling sessions, workshops, etc., on the campus. - Attend high school, college fairs, campus tours, and other community events for counseling, promotion, and data collection activities. - Organize and deliver seminars in schools, colleges, and educational institutes to create awareness about the University. - Conduct face-to-face counselling sessions and campus tours for students and parents visiting the University. - Generate data from different online and offline sources. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 1-3 years of experience in University admissions or college counselling. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational ability and the ability to meet deadlines. - Teaching experience and computer skills are preferable. - Listening skills, sensitivity, and empathy. - Patience and a calm manner. - Ability to cope with emotional situations and relate to a wide range of people.,
