Job Description

The Admission Officer is a highly motivated and target-driven individual responsible for pure sales and executing all outreach strategies to meet student enrollment goals. This role involves a significant amount of fieldwork, telecalling, and direct counseling, requiring a strong sales acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets by converting prospective student leads into confirmed admissions.
  • Conduct proactive pure sales activities through outbound calls (telecalling) to follow up on inquiries, counsel students, and close admissions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and counseling activities in the CRM system.

Outreach & Fieldwork

  • Plan and execute field visits to schools, educational institutes, and local communities to promote programs and generate leads.
  • Organize and represent the institution at educational fairs, seminars, and other outreach events in the region.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with school principals, counselors, and teachers for continuous lead generation.

Student Counseling & Support

  • Provide detailed and ethical counseling to prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, admission procedures, and career pathways.
  • Handle objections and queries effectively to guide prospects through the decision-making and application process.
  • Conduct on-site presentations and workshops for groups of students and parents during school visits.

✅ Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years preferred) in a target-based sales role, preferably in the education, telecom, or financial service sectors.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within Kochi and Ernakulam districts.

  • Exceptional Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to close sales and meet targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication in English and Malayalam is mandatory.
  • Customer Focus: A professional and empathetic approach to student and parent counseling.
  • Proactive & Independent: Ability to manage a sales pipeline and execute fieldwork with minimal supervision.
