Job Description

The Admissions Specialist is responsible for managing enquiries, conducting cold calling, counselling students on technical courses, and converting leads into admissions for Jobsense Training. The role demands strong communication skills, tech-awareness, and the ability to achieve monthly targets.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Lead Generation & Cold Calling

  • Conduct cold calling to prospective students from provided databases.
  • Make 70+ connected calls daily (as per centre standards).
  • Generate leads through tele-calling, WhatsApp outreach, referrals, and follow-ups.
  • Fix appointments and convert telephonic enquiries into walk-ins/registrations.

B. Student Counselling – Technical Courses

  • Counsel students on various technical training programs such as:
  • Full Stack Development
  • Java, Python, .NET
  • Data Analytics
  • UI/UX
  • Digital Marketing
  • Graphic Designing
  • C, C++, SQL, Web Development, etc.
  • Explain course curriculum, fees, duration, placement assistance, and career outcomes.
  • Assist students in selecting the right technical course based on their goals.

C. Admission Process Management

  • Manage complete admission cycle – enquiry → counselling → follow-up → registration.
  • Maintain records in CRM/Excel sheets.
  • Ensure documentation, fee collection, ID generation, and batch allocation.
  • Coordinate with trainers regarding batch schedules and student progress.

D. Coordination & Reporting

  • Work with the marketing team to improve lead quality and campaign performance.
  • Share daily calling and admissions reports with the Center Head / HR.
  • Support centre activities, seminars, and student engagement drives.

E. Student Relationship & Support

  • Maintain a welcoming and student-centric counselling environment.
  • Handle all student queries related to technical courses and institute policies.
  • Ensure high-quality service and timely communication with students/parents.

3. Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and counselling skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical IT course content.
  • Strong cold calling and lead conversion skills.
  • Good command over Excel, Google Sheets, CRM tools.
  • Goal-oriented, energetic, and professional.

4. Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate in any stream (technical background preferred but not mandatory).
  • 0–3 years of experience in counselling, admissions, telecalling, inside sales.
  • Prior experience in IT training/EdTech will be a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
