About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated, student-focused Admission Counselor to guide prospective students through the admissions process. The counselor will primarily handle admissions for Digital Marketing, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Cyber Security programs. The ideal candidate should be confident in counseling students, understanding career paths, and converting leads into successful enrollments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding Digital Marketing, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Cyber Security courses, including career opportunities and industry scope.
• Handle inbound & outbound calls, walk-ins, website leads, and online inquiries.
• Understand student interests and guide them toward the most suitable program based on skills and career goals.
• Explain course curriculum, certifications, fee structure, batch schedules, and admission policies clearly.
• Follow up with leads regularly to ensure high conversion rates.
• Maintain accurate student data, follow-ups, and reports in CRM.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets set by management.
• Participate in admission drives, seminars, webinars, education fairs, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding and student support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education, Marketing, Psychology preferred).
• 1–4 years of experience in education counseling, admissions, or student advisory roles (IT training institute experience preferred).
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to handle student queries with patience and professionalism.
• Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Digital Marketing / Data Science / Data Analytics / Cyber Security counseling.
• Experience in higher education, edtech companies, or professional training institutes.
• Multilingual communication skills (English + Hindi / Punjabi preferred).
• Target-driven mindset with strong sales and counseling orientation.
