Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

• Student Recruitment & Outreach:
• Attending college fairs and recruitment events.
• Visiting high schools and networking to find prospective students.
• Organizing and leading campus tours and information sessions.
• Application & Enrollment Guidance:
• Guiding students through the entire application process.
• Providing detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, and financial aid.
• Assisting students with completing applications and submitting required documents.
• Application Review & Evaluation:
• Reviewing and verifying applicant information and materials.
• Conducting interviews with prospective students.
• Making decisions or providing input on final approvals for college admission.
• Communication & Support:
• Maintaining communication with students to resolve application issues and provide ongoing support.
• Building relationships with students, families, and high school counselors.
• Data Management & Strategy:
• Maintaining accurate records of student interactions and application data.
• Collaborating with other counselors to achieve enrollment targets.
• Conducting research to evaluate and improve recruitment strategies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: To effectively communicate with students, families, and colleagues.
• Organizational & Time Management Skills: To manage multiple tasks, applications, and events simultaneously.
• Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to providing a positive and supportive experience for students.
• Knowledge of Educational Programs: A thorough understanding of the institution's offerings and academic requirements.
• Proficiency with Technology: Experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite is often required.
• Education & Experience: Typically a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with experience in admissions counseling or a related role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
