Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Team & Floor Management

    • Supervise day-to-day showroom operations and maintain a customer-ready ambience.
    • Allocate duties, set performance targets, and monitor counter, billing, and support staff.
    • Uphold discipline, grooming standards, and adherence to showroom SOPs.
  • Customer Handling & Service Quality

    • Step in on high-value or escalated customer interactions to secure prompt resolution.
    • Implement, audit, and refine customer-service procedures to deliver a premium experience.
    • Capture and analyse customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Training & Development

    • Conduct onboarding sessions and ongoing product / soft-skill training for all staff.
    • Create quick reference guides and coaching checklists; track training effectiveness through periodic assessments.
  • Reporting & MIS

    • Collect daily sales, inventory, and footfall data; consolidate into concise management dashboards.
    • Highlight variances, stock discrepancies, and process gaps with actionable recommendations.
  • Management Assistance & Projects

    • Assist senior management on special projects such as showroom expansion, process automation, and promotional events.
    • Coordinate with vendors, logistics partners, and finance teams to ensure timely task execution.
    • Prepare presentations, reports, and status updates for review meetings.

Preferred candidate profile

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Proven

    people-management

    and

    floor-management

    abilities in a retail or wholesale environment (luxury or jewellery preferred).
  • Excellent

    interpersonal and customer-handling

    skills; calm under pressure.
  • Solid grasp of

    training methodologies

    and a passion for developing team talent.
  • Strong command of

    MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

    ; familiarity with POS/ERP systems and basic inventory controls.
  • Analytical mindset

    ability to translate raw data into concise reports and insights.
  • Organized, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (ability to converse in Chhattisgarhi will be an advantage).
