The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, aligning HR strategies with business goals, and building a people-first culture. The role involves overseeing recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee engagement, and performance management in a fast-paced, high-volume customer service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for chat support agents, support staff, and leadership roles in night shifts.
  
• Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and timely hiring.
  
• Build a strong pipeline of talent using job portals, campus hiring, and employee referrals.
  

2. Onboarding & Induction:

• Design and deliver engaging onboarding and induction programs.
  
• Ensure completion of all joining formalities, documentation, and initial training.
  
• Assign mentors and ensure smooth integration of new hires into night shift teams.
  

3. Employee Relations & Engagement:

• Proactively address grievances and resolve conflicts professionally.
  
• Develop engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale in a night-shift environment.
  
• Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins and feedback sessions.
  

4. Performance Management:

• Implement and monitor KPI and SLA-based appraisal systems suitable for a US client-based operation.
  
• Collaborate with department managers to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  
• Promote a high-performance culture with recognition and accountability.
  

5. Policy Implementation & Compliance:

• Draft, update, and enforce HR policies aligned with Indian labor laws and BPO best practices.
  
• Maintain statutory compliance including ESIC, PF, gratuity, and labor records.
  
• Manage disciplinary actions and conduct structured exit processes.
  

6. Training & Development:

• Organize training programs focused on communication, soft skills, customer handling, and night shift adaptation.
  
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and career progression.
  

7. HR Operations & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records related to attendance, leaves, payroll inputs, and attrition.
  
• Leverage HRMS tools (such as Zoho, Keka, etc.) to digitize and streamline HR operations.
  
• Liaise with vendors for recruitment, training, and employee benefits.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in BPO/ITES;

• Excellent spoken and written English, capable of professional conversations with native English speakers.
  
• In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  
• Proven leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  
• Proficient in using HRMS systems and digital tools.
  
• Strong discretion in handling confidential information.
