Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


1. Human Resource Management

  • Maintain and update site employee records (attendance, leave, manpower deployment, etc.).
  • Coordinate induction, safety, and HR orientation programs.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of payroll inputs, attendance summaries, and leave data.
  • Handle grievances and employee welfare activities at site level.


2. Compliance & Statutory Management

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable labour laws, statutory registers, and government notifications.
  • Maintain compliance documentation under the

    Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, PF, ESI, and other site-related regulations.

  • Liaise with contractors for submission of labour compliance documents (wage sheets, challans, etc.).
  • Coordinate with government authorities during inspections or audits.


3. Administration & Site Support

  • Manage office administration, housekeeping, stationery, vehicle movement, and accommodation arrangements for site staff.
  • Coordinate logistics, travel, and other support functions.
  • Handle vendor management for administrative supplies and services.
  • Maintain discipline, security, and office asset records at site.


4. Coordination & Reporting

  • Submit monthly MIS reports related to HR, Admin, and Compliance to Head Office.
  • Support the Project Manager in manpower planning, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Coordinate with client representatives and local bodies as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    Graduate (Preferably in HR / Business Administration / Commerce). MBA in HR or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience:

    3–6 years of relevant experience in HR, Admin, and Compliance roles at site level — preferably in

    water supply, construction, or infrastructure projects.

  • Knowledge:

    Good understanding of labour laws, statutory compliances, and local administrative procedures.
  • Skills:

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage field workforce and contractors effectively.
  • Record keeping and documentation accuracy.

Reporting To:

Project Manager / HR Manager – Head Office

Work Environment:

  • Based full-time at the project site (Jhansi).
  • May involve coordination with multiple contractor teams.
