Accounts Receivables Officer

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals eager to grow their careers in finance. This role is ideal for candidates who have prior exposure to accounts receivable functions and want to advance their expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Communication (Email-Based):

   Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment issues, while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

2. Payment Allocation:

   Assist in accurate allocation of payments across multiple branches and ensure reconciliations are completed on time.

3. Debt Recovery Support:

   Draft and send email reminders, track follow-ups, and escalate unresolved cases to the client’s local team as needed.

4. Customer Statements:

   Prepare customer statements, identify discrepancies, and work with the Australian AR team to resolve them.

5. Recordkeeping & Reporting:

   Maintain accurate notes in the system and generate AR status reports for the client’s onshore team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting and accounts receivable.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with ERP/finance systems (Sage or similar) preferred, but not mandatory.

Work Environment

• Office-based role at Orakor’s secure delivery centre in Kerala, India.
