Accounts Payable Specialist

Talent Worx is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with vendors, ensuring that all transactions are conducted smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be crucial in ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and on time, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accuracy in coding and compliance with internal policies Verify payment requests and ensure that appropriate documentation is attached Communicate with vendors regarding inquiries, discrepancies, and payment status Assist in the month-end closing process, ensuring all accounts payable transactions are recorded accurately Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documents Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or financial operations Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Benefits Work with one of the Big 4's in India Healthy work Environment Work Life Balance
