Accounts Officer

Job Summary

Wiser Foods (Impex) LLP is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with 5–7 years of experience to manage accounting, taxation, and compliance functions for our import–export and food trading operations. The candidate should be well-versed in statutory compliances and capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts including vouchers, ledgers, journals, and reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable & receivable, vendor/customer reconciliations
• Manage GST compliances including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and 2B reconciliation
• Handle TDS deductions, challans, and returns
• Manage import–export accounting, including documentation, duty accounting, and freight expenses
• Perform bank, cash, and stock reconciliations
• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and monthly financial summaries
• Assist in finalization of accounts and coordination with statutory and internal auditors
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, Customs, and other statutory requirements
• Maintain proper accounting records for audits and regulatory reviews
• Preparing monthly reports for sales and area wise performance

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com mandatory; M.Com / CA-Inter preferred
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Import–Export accounting
• Hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Experience in food import, frozen foods, or FMCG will be an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance orientation
• Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines

Compensation

Salary will be as per industry standards and based on experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
