Job Description

Profile Overview:

plant-level accounting operations

MIS, budgeting, cost control

Key Responsibilities:

Handle
end-to-end plant level accounting
, including vouchers, entries, and day-to-day transactions.
Maintain
Cash Book, Bank Book
, and ensure timely
bank reconciliations
.
Monitor and control
plant expenses
, petty cash, and vendor payments.
Ensure compliance with
plant-level statutory requirements
such as
GST, TDS, PF, PT, and other applicable laws
.
Coordinate with
Head Office Finance
for monthly closures, reports, and statutory submissions.
Support
plant budgeting activities
and track actuals vs budget.
Maintain accounting records for
stock, consumption, and production-related transactions
.
Assist in
internal and statutory audits
at the plant and ensure closure of audit observations.
Ensure adherence to
company accounting policies, internal controls, and SOPs
at the plant.
Liaise with
plant operations, stores, HR, and external consultants
for financial and compliance matters.

Job Knowledge / Skills:

Good knowledge of
bookkeeping and accountancy
.
Hands-on experience in
cash & bank accounting
and reconciliations.
Good understanding of
statutory compliances
(PF, PT, GST, TDS, Income Tax).
Analytical and problem-solving skills
.
Ability to independently handle
internal audits
and compliance reviews.

Computer Literacy

Proficient in
MS Office
applications.
Strong working knowledge of
MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
.
Hands-on experience with
ERP systems
; good understanding of ERP accounting workflows.
