Job Descriptions for Accounts officer / Senior officer

Our rapidly growing company is looking for an experienced account officer to keep up-to-date account records and oversee smooth transactions with clients. The successful candidate will have great communications skills and a strong quantitative background, along with a proven track record of successfully handling accounts. The ideal candidate should be a team player, enjoy working with a variety of clients, and have knowledge of basic accounting functions. We also value those who are ready to learn and adapt with a fast-paced work environment. Work experience in the our industry is not required but preferred.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.Handle TDS and TCS compliance.Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.Reconcile vendor ledgers and accounts payable.Assist with basic auditing tasks.Posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, paying monthly payroll.Performing account reconciliations.Preparing tax returns.Assisting with audit preparations.Marinating accounting system.Performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Should be able to prepare the data for submission for Internal Audit.
Should have sound knowledge to manage statutory compliance.Should be able to prepare MIS Reportsshould have good Knowledge to keep accounts up to date as per the requirements of the Auditors.Produce error-free accounting reports and present their resultsAnalyse financial information and summarise financial statusSpot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spendingProvide technical support and advice on Management AccountantReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and proceduresManage accounting assistants and bookkeepersParticipate in financial standards setting and in forecast processProvide input into department’s goal setting processAssist with tax audits and tax returnsSupport month-end and year-end close processDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.**

Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processAdvanced MS Excel skills including V-Lookups and pivot tablesAccuracy and attention to detailAptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Qualification

Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant - BCom, MCom.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
