Maintenance Operator

Job Description

Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, control panels, wiring, and components. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and tools. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment (motors, transformers, lighting systems, etc.). Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and quality procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and reports. Support project execution, including new installations or plant modifications. Coordinate with other departments and vendors for smooth operations. Requirements: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of relevant experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems (for technician) years for an Operator/supervisor. Strong knowledge of electrical standards and safety regulations (e.g., IE Rules, IS standards). Ability to work independently and under pressure. Good communication and teamwork skills.
