Accounts Manager

1. Financial Management

• Oversee daily financial transactions and accounting activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Manage budgets, financial planning, and analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

2. Team Supervision

• Lead and manage the accounting team.
• Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance.
• Provide training and support to junior accountants.

3. Compliance and Auditing

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and policies (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits.
• Maintain proper documentation for tax and compliance purposes.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable

• Oversee billing, invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Manage aging reports and cash flow.

5. Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Present insights on financial trends and business performance.

6. Tax and Regulatory

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Liaise with tax consultants or regulatory bodies as needed.

7. Systems and Process Improvement

• Implement or upgrade accounting software and systems.
• Improve efficiency in accounting processes and controls.

8. Strategic Involvement

• Collaborate with management to support business decision-making.
• Contribute to business strategy from a financial perspective.
