Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain ledger entries (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger).
• Reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Monitor cash flow and petty cash; prepare cash flow statements.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budget preparation, expense forecasting & variance analysis.
• Maintain and update records in accounting software (e.g. Tally / QuickBooks / ERA etc.).
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements (tax returns, filings etc.).
• Support audit processes (internal / external) by preparing schedules, documents etc.
• Liaise with other departments (operations / bookings / vendors) for billing and financial queries or discrepancies.
• Handle vendor / supplier account reconciliations and ensure vendor statements are matched.
• Bookkeeping: tracking expenses, allocations, fixed assets if applicable.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting / finance, preferably in travel/tourism / hospitality sector.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations in India, including GST, TDS etc.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks or similar).
• Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical skills, ability to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Good communication skills in English / Hindi – verbal and written.
• Ability to work under deadlines; organized and able to multitask.
• Honest, reliable, and strong work ethic.
