Job Summary:

Accounts Assistant


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting software. Tally knowledge a must
  • Assist with invoice generation and bill entry
  • Prepare and maintain records of receipts, payments, and petty cash
  • Support in bank reconciliations and vendor statement matching
  • Assist with GST data compilation and TDS entries
  • Help prepare financial summaries and basic reports for review
  • Maintain organized filing of financial records and documents
  • Support senior accountants in audits and month-end activities


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
  • 1 year of hands-on experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Indian tax regulations (GST/TDS)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, formulas, formatting)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the accounts/finance domain
