Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Assistant to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial documents, ledgers, and reports. Perform daily accounting functions including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations. Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory filing and compliance. Assist in tracking expenses, verifying bills, and processing payments. Handle petty cash management and expense reporting. Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding accounts-related queries. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit purposes. Provide support during internal and external audits. Ensure timely follow-ups and adherence to accounting deadlines. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field. 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, or ERP). Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
