Accounting Specialist

Position Title: Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth financial operation of our company. You will interact with clients, manage invoices and payments, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients regarding invoices and payments.
• Generate and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow up with clients for outstanding payments.
• Track and follow up on purchase orders (PO).
• Update and maintain the invoice dashboard.
• Prepare accounts payable reports, detailing our obligations to vendors.
• Prepare accounts receivable reports, detailing what clients owe us.
• Create estimates for clients.
• Manage vendor bills, including adding new bills and updating payment statuses.
• Share purchase orders and update the related dashboard.
• File GST (Goods and Services Tax) for Gcode and Tetelestai.
• Maintain a petty cash float and ensure proper recordkeeping.
• Update the estimate dashboard with accurate information.
• Send payment advice to vendors to inform them of upcoming payments.
• Update TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) sheets to ensure accurate tax withholding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
• Zoho Books.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
