· Bookkeeping & General Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. This includes performing daily bookkeeping, posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
· Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, dashboards, and management information system (MIS) reports. You will contribute to business data analytics by providing clear and actionable insights from financial data.
· Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), ensuring timely payments to vendors and collection of outstanding funds.
· Payroll & HR Support: Assist with the processing of payroll and related financial tasks.
· Budgeting & Audits: Support the preparation of yearly budgets and assist in the compilation of audit packs to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the Chennai team and the finance department in Africa to ensure consistent financial reporting and compliance across all business entities.
