Job Title: Accountant – US & India Accounting

About the Role

We are expanding our Accounting function and are seeking a dedicated Accountant to independently manage books and compliance for multiple small clients across India and the United States. The role involves close collaboration with clients and requires strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books and QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting for multiple clients (India & US)
• Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and finalize financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Work on U.S. GAAP–based reporting and book closures
• Payroll processing and basic U.S. tax-related activities (W2/1099 coordination, basic filings)
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS returns and support annual statutory compliances in India
• Perform reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, payroll)
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Coordinate with auditors and client stakeholders for all accounting matters
• Adhere to accounting standards, client SLAs, and internal controls
• Visit client offices when required for coordination or review

Required Skills & Experience

• CA Inter or MBA/M.Com with minimum 2–4 years of experience
• Experience working with Audit/CA firms or handling US accounting clients is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Zoho Books & QuickBooks (mandatory)
• Understanding of Indian statutory compliance – GST, TDS, PF, PT, ROC support etc.
• Good working knowledge of US GAAP basics and payroll fundamentals
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with clients
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Attributes

• Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously
• Hands-on experience in accounting process documentation and reporting
• Ability to work independently with accountability for deliverables

Work Mode

• Work from office – Hyderabad
• Occasional travel to client site as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
