Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant proficient in both Indian and US accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. This role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Handle General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and US GAAP.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements.
  • Support audit activities (internal and external) and ensure timely responses to audit queries.
  • Work on tax compliance including TDS, GST, and other statutory filings for Indian operations.
  • Prepare financial reports and management summaries as required by the finance team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Handle QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or other accounting software as required.
  • Support US-based accounting requirements such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, and basic understanding of payroll/taxation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 4–5 years of experience in accounting (experience in both Indian and US accounting preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS and US GAAP principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools like QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or Xero.
  • Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in outsourced accounting or shared service environments.
  • Basic knowledge of US taxation and payroll concepts.
  • Certification such as CA (Inter), CPA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
