Accountant

Responsibilities

• Execute accounting tasks across various focus areas, ensuring accuracy,

completeness, and timeliness.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal

entries, reconciliations, and analysis.

• Assist with audits and regulatory reviews by preparing supporting documentation and

responding to inquiries.

• Rotate across functional areas (e.g., revenue, compensation, fixed assets) to

develop broad COE expertise and support cross-functional initiatives.

• Contribute to the standardization and documentation of accounting processes,

checklists, and templates.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with Regional Controllers, COE Leads and team members to share best

practices and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.

• Adjust priorities and working hours as needed to support global stakeholders and

peak periods.

• Serve as a flexible resource to cover temporary absences or special projects across

the COE.

Qualifications Essential

• Post-qualified CA/CPA with at least 2 years of PQE, or a Finance/Accounting graduate

with over 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience

• Strong working knowledge of accounting transactions typical for a globally distributed

professional services business

• Experience in supporting audits
• Strong written and verbal English language communications skills
• Willingness to adjust working hours to align with stakeholders in other time zones
• Proven ability to proactively and independently solve problems, good common-sense

judgment

• Advanced Microsoft Excel user
• Strong knowledge of USGAAP

Highly desirable

• A working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (Oracle)
• Experience supporting a global business headquarters in the US
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction accounting and compliance (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS,

and/or local statutory requirements)
