Job Description

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications Perform thorough API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies Identify, report, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports Participate in regular Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) Must-Have Skills: 13 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing Strong experience in writing automated test scripts in Python Proficient in API testing using Postman or Swagger Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira) Good analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar Familiarity with Pytest, or other testing frameworks Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Basic understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
