Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of our institution. The ideal candidate should have 10–12 years of accounting experience in educational institutions, with strong knowledge of fee management, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and all financial records.
• Handle student fee collection, reconciliation, and outstanding reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
• Handle payroll preparation for teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and expense control for the institution.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Oversee vendor payments, purchase accounting, and petty cash management.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and student records.
• Support the management in financial planning and decision-making.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / MS Excel / Accounting software
• Strong knowledge of education sector financial systems
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to manage a small team or junior accountants
