Job Title: Accountant – Automobile Industry

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with 2–3 years of experience, specifically in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate must be familiar with dealership accounting, billing, inventory handling, and automobile-related financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the automobile business.
• Handle vehicle sales billing, service billing, spare parts billing, and related entries.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory for vehicles and spare parts.
• Manage receivables and payables, vendor reconciliation, and customer outstanding tracking.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cashbooks, and ledgers regularly.
• Handle RTO-related financial documentation (if applicable).
• Prepare MIS reports, P&L, balance sheet, and monthly financial summaries.
• Coordinate with service, sales, and spare parts departments for accounting entries and approvals.
• Assist with internal/external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or any relevant qualification.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in the automobile industry (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of automobile dealership accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Tally / Dealer Management System (DMS) or similar software.
• Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience in warranty, insurance, and claims accounting.
• Familiarity with OEM reporting and audit requirements.
• Knowledge of advanced ERP systems used in auto dealerships.
