Job Description

ROLES

1.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant & Purchase Executive to join our team. Our company is a leading trader of water treatment chemicals, and this dual-role position is crucial for our day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial records while also handling the purchasing of our chemical inventory. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in both accounting and procurement

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Accounting & Finance:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

· Process all financial transactions, such as invoices, payroll, and expense reports.

· Conduct bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.

· Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

· Handle tax filings and liaise with external auditors as needed.

2.

Purchasing & Inventory:

· Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for all water treatment chemicals.

· Source new suppliers and negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.

· Prepare and issue purchase orders, and track them through to delivery.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the sales team to ensure sufficient stock.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

· Address any issues or discrepancies with orders, deliveries, or invoices.

Reconcile bank statements

Prepare financial reports.

Handle general administrative tasks

Manage and organize office files and documents

Provide support to other departments as needed.

Requirements

1.

· A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

2.

· Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a trading, manufacturing, or chemical-related industry.

3.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

4.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).

5.

· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

6.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

8.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
