Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate books of accounts, including general ledger entries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns, audits, and statutory reports Monitor expenses, budgets, and financial controls Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, tax consultants) Identify process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field [2–5] years of relevant accounting experience (can be adjusted) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) Good working knowledge of MS Excel High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) – added advantage Experience in [industry, if applicable] Knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliance Soft SkillsIntegrity and professionalism Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Team-oriented with a proactive mindset What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits Stable work environment with a reputable company
