Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the accounting, financial reporting, and related financial operations of our real estate company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting management with financial analysis and planning. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain accurate books of accounts for the real estate business Record daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, and payments Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts Real Estate–Specific Financial Tasks Track property-related income and expenses (rent, maintenance, utilities, taxes, etc.) Prepare financial statements for individual properties and projects Monitor lease payments, rent collections, and outstanding balances Handle accounting for property purchases, sales, and depreciation Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Provide financial insights to support business decisions Other Responsibilities Maintain organized financial records and documentation Support management with financial planning and cost control Improve accounting processes and internal controls Handle any other finance- or accounting-related tasks as required Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience as an accountant (experience in real estate is a strong advantage) Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, or similar) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
